Health Care Manager
Lijet Respite Home is looking for an experienced and organized Health Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our health care services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for quality care, and a commitment to creating a supportive environment for both families and staff. As a Health Care Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating care, managing staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and implementing strategies to improve service delivery and enhance the well-being of our families and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of health care services, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow that meets the needs of loved ones and aligns with organizational goals.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Manage, train, and support a team of health care professionals, including nurses, support workers, and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all health care services are provided in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality care and safety standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the health care budget, monitoring expenses, and identifying areas for cost-effective improvements without compromising quality.
- Care Coordination: Work closely with clinical staff to coordinate care plans, ensuring loved ones receive personalized, comprehensive care that aligns with their needs and goals.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures related to health care operations, ensuring consistency and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster transparent communication.
- Performance Improvement: Identify areas for service improvement, gather feedback, and implement strategies to enhance satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Risk Management: Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and manage incident reports to create a secure environment for loved ones and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a health care management role, preferably within a respite care, mental health, or community health setting.
- Skills and Attributes:

Requirements
- Certifications: Current certification in health care management or administration is an asset.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check, including vulnerable sector screening.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in health care management software and MS Office Suite.
- Class 5 Drivers License
